Tennessean editorial board get slammed
November 3, 2006 at 8:36 am | In Media | Leave a CommentOne day after serving up the editorial “Truth in Kerry’s remark,” Mark Silverman of the Tennessean offers an apology. In fact, the entire letters-to-the-editor section is filled with responses to yesterday’s op/ed. The best quote comes from three-star letter-writer Della Pratt, who concludes with this gem: “Support the political figures you like, but please be grateful that we have men and women who are willing to sacrifice their lives for you and your right to voice your comments in an anonymous editorial demeaning them.”
