Pelosi’s devotion to abortion trumps her devotion to the Catholic Church
A reader sent along the link to a Hot Air blog post describing in detail Pelosi’s lie regarding the Catholic Church and its position on when life begins. In short, Pelosi says the church doesn’t know when life begins, when, in fact, the Papacy has for quite some time made it clear that life begins at conception. In fact, the church is so adamant about this that it even opposes the use of birth control. I’m not even a Catholic and I know this. Pelosi’s a Catholic, and she doesn’t? Writes Ed Morrissey, “I’m always astounded as to the extent of deception in which pro-choice Catholics indulge themselves, both inwardly and outwardly, to justify their positions.”
