The things that pass for knowledge I just can’t understand
John McCain made the mistake of going on The View (otherwise known as PMS-TV) last week, and made the statement that he would nominate judges who would interpret the Constitution as the Founders had intended it. This prompted the contemporary philosopher/genius Whoopi Goldberg to ask if this meant a return to slavery. Why, yes, Whoopi, it does. Even though the GOP was the party that ended slavery, we’re going to bring it back some 143 years after the fact. Sheesh.
